Welcome to Thank You Yeshua, a website dedicated to honoring the life and legacy of John C. Arwood, a man known for his unwavering faith and commitment to service.
Lovingly known as “Papa Arwood” or “Jack,” John was a man of profound character and deep faith. Born in 1944, John lived a life filled with service until his passing in 2022. He was a loving father, a proud American Indian, a dedicated US Army veteran, and an ordained minister, all while building a nationwide waste management business along with his son John D. Arwood. John was committed to serving his communities with dedication and integrity.
A Legacy of Faith & Service
John’s life was a testament to his faith in God. His famous phrase, “Thank you Jesus,” reflected his gratitude and trust in God, regardless of the circumstances. His passion for ministry and his devotion to following Christ were evident in every conversation. John’s actions spoke louder than words, revealing a man who lived by his beliefs and inspired others to do the same.
At Thank You Yeshua, we hope to inspire others to publicly thank our Lord and Savior, continuing John’s legacy. Derived from the Hebrew name Yehoshua, Yeshua means “Yahweh is salvation” or “Yahweh saves.” It is the original Hebrew name for Jesus, reflecting his role as the savior in Christian faith.
We believe in the power of gratitude and the impact it can have on our lives and the lives of those around us. By publicly saying “Thank You Yeshua” we can give glory to Jesus Christ and continue the legacy of John C. Arwood, and encourage others to do the same.
